One of my favourite hobbies is walking around Cemeteries and graveyards looking at headstones.
I believe this hobby has a name 'Taphophile'
A taphophile is someonewho has an interest in cemeteries, tombstones, or memories of past lives. The word taphophile is taken from the Greek language and means “to love graves.” Taphophile is often mixed up with necrophile but please believe me when I say they are completely different!
My hobby started one day when I was walking round Welford Road Cemetery in Leicester and saw a grave that said 'In remembrance' and I thought to myself Who remembers?. The long dead soul died over one hundred years ago. So I took a photo of the headstone , went home and researched who it was and there you have it, a taphophile was born,
